50th Day & Expository Writing

I can't believe we are already at the 50th day of school!  It seems like we just started a few days ago.  Time sure does fly when you are having fun (and learning lots)!  We had lots of great poodle skirts and slicked back hair today to help us celebrate! Enjoy the pictures below.

One of the biggest new learnings we have had over the last couple weeks has been expository writing. I am eager to start grading papers and see how much they have learned.  I think they are really enjoying this genre of writing.  Be sure to check out some of the posters below to see what we have been discussing in class about this genre of writing.

Sincerely,
Mrs. Monk
