Kids Count Players

Today the Kids Count Players team put on a puppet show for our kids.  It highlighted some serious topics in a kid friendly way.  Today each kid will be coming home with a sheet explaining some of the things they talked about today and showcasing 8 great rules for safety.  Please be sure to talk to your child about the importance of being safe when it comes to all of those matters.  Below are some pictures from the puppet show.

Happy 1/2 Birthday to Me!!

What a great surprise today!  Today everyone surprised me by celebrating my half birthday.  It was so much fun to get to share this with the kids.  Thank you all so much for making me feel so special.  I got a galore of flowers and sweet cards.  I also got a cute mug and a monkey that blows kisses.  And to top it all off,  I got a great yummy lunch and was able to share some snicker-doodle cookies with the kiddos.  Thanks again for making me feel so special.  Now, I am going home to convince my husband we should continue to celebrate my birthday tonight.  We will see how that goes . . .
